What is the future for Catholic hospitals in Ireland?

A symposium organised by the Council for Healthcare of the Irish Episcopal Conference

The Council for Healthcare is a Council of the Irish Bishops' Conference.  Its purpose is to advise the bishops on matters pertaining to healthy living and healthcare in ireland in light of the Church's call to the ministry of hope and healing of Christ in the Gospels.

The purpose of this symposium is to stimulate informed reflection and debate on the issues invovled among stakeholders in Catholic hospitals and within the Irish Catholic community in general.

Speakers include Dr. Kevin Smith, Prof. Jim Egan, Mr. Tom Lynch and representatives of the Department of Health/HSE
